Prof.Weihua Wang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Material Physicist, Director of the Key Laboratory of Extreme Condition Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.Prof. Weihua Wang has been engaged in basic and applied basic research of amorphous materials for a long time, proposed a rheological unit model, established a new method for structural non-uniformity strengthening design, and synthesized a series of high-toughness amorphous alloys. It has made important contributions to solving the brittleness problem of amorphous alloys and promoting the application of amorphous materials. He won the second prize of the National Natural Science Award, the second prize of the National Invention Award, the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Zhou Peiyuan Physics Prize. He has published more than 300 research papers in internationally renowned journals Science, Nature Materials, Physical Review Letters, Advanced Materials, Physical Review B, Applied Physical Letters, etc. In Advanced Materials, prog.Mater. Sci., Mater. Sci.Eng. R,J. Appl. Phys..published 5 invitational review articles, SCI cited more than 7000 times. Prof. Weihua Wang serves as the Chief Scientist and Member of the Academic Advisory Committee of the Center.
